Redcliff Grizzlies Junior Coach Program
To support the ongoing development of young leaders within Redcliff and minor hockey, our Redcliff Grizzlies Junior Coach program provides the opportunity for registered participants under the age of 18 to give back to their community and help as a positive role model for the next generation of Grizzlies hockey!!
No experience is required to be a Grizzlies Junior Coach, however the following requirements should be met (and are subject to change):
- Must be under the age of 18 at the start of the season
- Must be a currently registered RMHA player or played on a team last year
- Should be a minimum of two (2) age groups above the age group they will help coach
- Must complete the Grizzlies Junior Coach application before being assigned as a Junior Coach
- NO ONE IS PERMITTED to “help out” on the ice without being a registered coach/staff, Junior Coach or contracted 3rd Party (ie. powerskating or goalie training)
- All Grizzlies Junior Coaches ages 16+ are required to have a criminal record check and complete the Respect In Sport Activity Leader certification
